Weekly online class: Yamas, Niyamas and Meditation
Thursdays | 6:00–7:00 PM (Online)
$20 per class | 1-hour guided session
A gentle mid-week class to explore yoga philosophy and the sutras specifically the yamas and niyamas as they apply to practice on the mat and in life.
In Ayurveda and Yoga, balance is not a fixed state but something we nurture through rhythm and regularity. Just as nature moves in cycles, our bodies and minds find harmony through consistent, mindful practice. This practice in the class and on the mat through contemplation and reflection is extended to how we move through life and our relationships - guided by the ethical, moral and integrity of the yogic philosophy.
Each of our weekly classes offers a peaceful space to explore the teachings of the sutras through gentle yoga asana, breathwork, mindfulness, meditation and group discussion.
As the series unfolds, we will explore each of the Yamas and Niyamas of Sage Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, integrating their timeless teachings into daily life. Classes are open to both beginners and experienced practitioners. You are welcome to join weekly or drop in when you need it — classes are easy to rejoin with light recaps and gentle guidance.
With regular practice, you may experience:
A deeper connection between body and breath
Reduced stress and greater mental clarity
A sense of calm and presence in daily life
Tools for regulating energy and cultivating restfulness
A deeper understanding of the yoga sutras, to apply to your daily life and actions
