Ananda Wellness is delighted to announce the launch of online mental health counselling services in Sri Lanka starting July 2025, with a mix of in-person and online sessions available from 2026.
These powerful holistic sessions are facilitated by Niveen - a warm, intuitive mental health practitioner with close to a decade of experience in therapeutic support, mind-body healing, and community wellbeing. Trained in Counselling, Ayurvedic lifestyle guidance, classical Hatha yoga and meditation, mind-body therapies and Reiki energy healing Niveen supports people through a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges.
It's been 9 years since we kicked off Ananda Wellness in a little room within a most beloved yoga ashram in Richmond. In that time we have met so many wonderful people and shared stories, tears, laughter and adventure. This is our inspiration to keep serving, creating and to keep working with passion and love, every day.
One year to go before we complete our first decade and what one it has been - and we have you to thank for your friendship, interest and support in one or many ways as we have taken this journey.

An Ayurvedic diet is designed to bring balance to the body and mind. It centers on balancing the 6 tastes found in different food groups.
Join us for a Friday evening of food, chats and fun as we explore some of the basics of an Ayurvedic diet, discuss key kitchen ingredients, spices, herbs and cooking methods and then learn to make a few Sri Lankan Ayurvedic dishes perfect for lunch or dinner.
A wonderful way to end the week and connect with others - bring friends for a fun evening out and enjoy a meal and chai with plenty of conversation and yummy food!

This will be an easy general practice - beneficial for beginners not knowing how to start all the way to advanced meditators, focusing on a time for stillness and going within.
Every week, we’ll explore a few simple and classic paths to mindfulness & meditation starting with the use of different breathing techniques to clear the way. The hope is to leave you feeling light, clear and ready to take on life’s ups and downs
Come along and join an informative, practical and fun workshop to learn about the system of Ayurveda and the importance of aligning with nature and her seasons, how to adjust your lifestyle, habits, food and drink, exercise, yoga and breathing to bring about shifts to your well-being.
Join us at clinic on the first Saturday of each month to sample and learn about a new herbal tea. Each of our teas function differently to contribute to our holistic health, and each month we want to guide you through their purposes and usages, as well as offer them to you for sampling purposes.
